Weekly Cadet Announcements - Monday, April 3rd, 2023

All cadets to bring the following:

- Refillable water bottle

- Money for canteen

- Pen

- Notebook/paper


Level 5 cadets to be at Armoury by 1745-1750 (5:45pm - 5:50pm).

All other cadets to arrive between 1800-1815 (6:00pm- 6:15pm).

Everyone is to be formed up on the parade square by 1815 at the latest.

Dress for this week is FTU. If you do not have a FTU please wear black pants, white shirt, and tie.

Cadets to be picked up by 2115 (9:15pm).


All Cadets, If your flight is on duty you MUST REMAIN until everything is put away.

Duty Flight this week is Flight 3.


Band Practice

There will be band practice this Sunday, April 2nd from 1400-1700.

Please check Google Classroom for updates.

Drill Team

There is no drill team practice this week.

Range Day - Level 1 & 2

April 1 2023

In order to pass your level, each cadet must fire an air rifle at least once in a training year. In order to accommodate this there will be a Range Day on April 1 from 730am-12 noon. This will be for any cadets in level 1 or 2 who have not shot this year.

If you have any questions speak to the following staff; OCdt Erb, OCdt Wilcox or CI Barrow.

Little Caesars Pizza Kits

For all of you who have outstanding Pizza/cookie kits, Delivery of these items will be on Monday April 3. All items must be picked up by 9pm on April 3. Any questions please reach out to OCdt Erb Kelly.erb@cadets.gc.ca

Spring Tagging

April 21, 22, 23

All cadets need to be on the lookout for the spring tagging signup. Please note tagging is a mandatory part of the cadet program. In order to be considered for future trips, cadets must tag a minimum of two shifts.

Shifts will run;

Friday 5pm-930pm

Saturday 830am-530pm

Sunday 9am-530pm

Parents will be required to drive cadets to and from tagging locations.

If you cannot attend you must get approval from Capt Paull.


Range and Orienteering Day

Hold The Date: Ready, Aim, Explore! Mark your calendars for May 27 and join us for an unforgettable day of range shooting and orienteering. How good is your aim? How well can you navigate the terrain? This event will put your skills to the test and let you experience the thrill of adventure firsthand.


Kit Shop

102 Squadron Kit Shop will be open for business on:

April 24th from 6 - 6:30pm during Cadet arrival

May 29th from 6 - 6:30pm during Cadet arrival

June 3rd @ Annual Ceremonial Review
