Awards Night! Parents we are inviting you to come out while we recognize the outstanding efforts of all the cadets at 102 Barrie Silver Fox RCACS. The ceremony starts at 645pm.
Cadets Dress is C3B (no tunic or tie)
There will be no canteen this night so be sure to bring a water bottle.
Annual Ceremonial Review
Please see attached invite for this year's Annual Ceremonial Review. We encourage you to come out and see what the amazing cadets of 102 Barrie Silver Fox RCACS have been up to this year.
Cadets will need to be dropped off at Barrie Armoury by 0700 in civilian attire and need to bring Blue uniform, don’t forget your wedge, boots, tie, belt, nametag, water bottle, tunic and pants! Also, make sure all cadets eat a good breakfast, we will provide lunch.
Guests to be seated by 1345 (1:45pm) at Dyte Hall in Base Borden. Cadets then go home with family after cleanup.

Poster Competition
You are challenged to create a poster to commemorate the 100 years of the Royal Canadian Air Force. The winner will receive a prize worth up to $100. These posters will be due on annual (May 25th).
Kit Shop & Gift Basket Fundraiser
The last day of the training year to get your 102 Squadron swag is May 25th at the Annual Ceremonial Review. You can also show your Squadron support by purchasing raffle tickets for the gift basket fundraiser. You can show your squadron support by purchasing raffle tickets for the gift basket fundraiser. All funds raised go back into the cadet program and support the many activities we do throughout the year.
Barrie Air Show June 15 and 16
We need cadets in levels 3, 4, and 5 to sign up to support the activity.
Cadets in levels 1 and 2 are invited to attend the activity with the squadron on June 15th 2024.

Tree Planting
We will be looking for cadets to plant some trees in the Barrie area to celebrate 100 years of the Royal Canadian Air Force. Please check back for more information and dates and times.
Attention Levels 4 and 5
We may need tents for our White Water Rafting Trip. Please see Lt Erb if you have a tent you can bring.
Band
Anyone who might be interested in joining the Barrie Tri-Service Band next training year, please fill out this form. This includes any returning members. Instruments only include marching band instruments.

102 Squadron Sponsoring Committee is looking for energetic, dedicated individuals willing to donate their time to help raise much-needed funds to support our squadron by joining the squadron sponsoring committee. To volunteer please contact ssc@102squadron.com. SSC members are always available to answer questions at drop-off and pick-up on Monday nights. Stop by and say hi!
Cadet 365
Remember to sign in to your Cadet 365 account and familiarize yourself with Microsoft Teams as we will start using this as our primary method of communication. Step by step instructions can be found on the Cadet 365 Onboarding website.

As a part of our Annual Ceremonial Review, we will have a variety of static displays set up for cadets, staff, friends and family, and distinguished guests to view. These displays will showcase different activities from the past year and what our squadron's all about! The level 4 cadets are working on putting these together but need your help!
