Range Team
Range Team practice starts at 0800 sharp. It is imperative that all members of team are present for set up and take down. This is for Range team only. We will look at opening up range after the competition in February. There will be a practice February 24th and the competition is Feb 25th. Range team will get more details this weekend.

Are you going to be 16 by July 1st of 2024? Do you want to make some money and have an amazing experience this summer? Applications for summer staffing are open for those who are qualified.
Deadline for application is 26 Feb 2024. Applications are being accepted for the following CTCs:
a. In Region CTCs:
(1) Blackdown; and
(2) Trenton.
b. Out of Region:
(1) Valcartier;
(2) Rocky Mountain; and
(3) Vernon.
c. Virtual:
(1) Technology and Digital Learning Centre (TDLC).
2. While we expect staff cadet opportunities to be available at the CTCs listed above, this is subject to change. Your continued patience is appreciated.

Snow Tubing:
102 will be going snow tubing on February 21st at Snow Valley from 6:00-8:30! Make sure you sign up on the Google form. Attached is a form that should be printed out and brought with you filled in and signed on the 21st.
Drill Team & Flag Party
Drill team will be having a practice this Saturday from 1:00-3:30. This will only be the DRILL TEAM, NO SPARES. Updated list of people on drill team is below.

Level 1, 2 and 3 Trip
There will be an overnight trip for level 1, 2 and 3 cadets to the Hamilton Warplane Museum April 6th to 7th. Cadets need to be at the Barrie Armoury for 17:30 on Saturday and will be back around 13:30 on Sunday. For cadets interested in attending, there will be a table set up during break to sign up by bringing in $50 and the signed permission form. If the $50 fee is a barrier to going, talk to 2Lt Erb. March 4th will be the last day to sign up!!! Ask FSgt Wright if you need a permission form.
Static Displays
As a part of our Annual Ceremonial Review, we will have a variety of static displays set up for cadets, staff, friends and family and distinguished guests to view. These displays will showcase different activities from the past year and what our squadron's all about! The level 4 cadets are working on putting these together but need your help! Talk to or email the cadets below if you'd like to work on a static display.

Effective Speaking and Debate
The Effective Speaking and Debate Team will be meeting this Thursday at Hillcrest Public School 184 Toronto St, Barrie from 18:00 to 20:00. Please arrive around 17:50 so we can start on time. Remember to bring indoor footwear as it is required by the school, as well as pen/pencil, paper and water. Don't forget to work on your speeches!!! The competition will be Februrary 29th. Cadet 365
Remember to sign in to your Cadet 365 account and familiarize yourself with Microsoft Teams as we will start using this as our primary method of communication.
