Drill Team: There will be a Drill Team practice this Friday (08 Feb) at Ardagh Bluff’s PS from 1900 – 2130hrs. Please bring indoor shoes and be prepared to march! (Ardagh Bluffs PS is located at 159 Summerset Dr.)
Range Team: There will be a Range Team practice this Saturday (09 Feb) at The Armoury from 0900 – 1500hrs. This practice is for selected cadets only.
Valentine’s Dance: Get out and have some fun with your cadet friends and make some new ones at the Tri-Service Valentines Dance, happening this Saturday (09 Feb) from 1900 – 2300hrs at the Armoury. There will be pizza and snacks for sale at the canteen during the dance. There will also be a professional DJ and a photo booth! The dress is casual (but school-appropriate!) attire. Unfortunately, cadets may not bring guests this year. Sign up here!
Band: There will be a band practice this Sunday (10 Feb) at the armouries 2030 – 2130hrs. Please continue to bring your instruments to Monday nights and all practices. Should you have any questions, please contact the Band Officer SLt Morris.

Bark Lake: Cadets in Levels 3-5 are headed to Bark Lake Leadership Centre for an excellent, adventure-filled weekend. This trip is from February 16th – 18th. Check the info page for the kit list and more. Click here for more info on Bark Lake. If you still have yet to submit payment or the acknowledgement of risk form, you must do so this upcoming Monday. UPDATE: Cadets are expected to arrive at the Armoury for 0900hrs on 16 Feb.
Do you still have OPC tickets? If your name was called as still having tickets, please bring them back or speak with the SSC. OPC tickets are overdue.
Snow Tubing: We are heading to Snow Valley for Snow Tubing! This event will take place on 27 February from 1700 – 2030hrs. If you haven’t been before, snow tubing is an exciting winter activity, especially with a group of friends! As we need to get our numbers in, this signup will close on 20 February. You must submit a liability waiver, signed by your parent/guardian, NLT Monday, 25 February. Click here for more information and to sign up!

Top Uniform Award: Beginning this Month, each Flight will be recognizing uniform excellence with an award for the top junior uniform. Cadets in levels 1-3 are eligible to win the prize, and the scoring is based on Monday-night inspections. If you have questions as to how inspections are scored, please speak with your flight commander.
Debate Team: Fear not, Debate Team is still happening! There will be an information session and auditions coming in the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for updates! If you are interested, check the Dashboard to put your name in!
Colts Game: 102 Squadron has partnered with the Barrie Colts to offer cadets, their families, and friends a special ticket rate of $21, with $6 from each ticket sold being donated to our squadron. As a further incentive, the Colts have offered to let us provide the flag party for the national anthem before the game. The top 3 cadet sellers will be members of the flag party for this event. This is a fantastic opportunity for the top sellers to show thanks and respect by wearing their uniform with pride for our national anthem. Ticket orders are due NLT 25 February and will be distributed on 4 March. Click here to download the order form.
Water: Please bring a refillable water bottle to the Armoury on Monday nights so you may use the provided water cooler.
